Educational use only

The information on this site is general and educational. It is not medical, legal, veterinary or professional safety advice. Snake boots and protective gear can reduce risk, but no product can guarantee protection from every snakebite. Follow manufacturer guidance, avoid handling snakes, stay alert in snake habitat, and seek emergency medical attention after a suspected snakebite.

No guarantee of protection

Snake boots, gaiters, chaps and other protective gear can reduce risk, but no product can guarantee protection from every snakebite or outdoor hazard. You are responsible for your own decisions and safety.

We work to keep information accurate and show when each guide was last updated, but products and sources change, and we cannot guarantee that everything is complete or current. Always check the manufacturer’s current information, sizing and instructions before you buy or use any product.
